Support Electric Vehicle Deployment

Show your support as the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee take an important vote on the Electric Vehicle Deployment Act to build our nation’s electric vehicle infrastructure and take a critical step to reduce our dependence on oil. The Electric Vehicle Deployment Act (S-3442) and the Electric Drive Vehicle Deployment Act (HR-5442) are designed to advance the wide-scale deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) and the infrastructure needed to support them. The bills establish a competition in which communities would compete to be selected as electrification “deployment communities”: communities in which incentives are employed so that all of the elements of an electrified transportation system are deployed simultaneously.
