In early 2012, Drive Oregon and the Portland Development Commission (PDC) partnered to commission the Northwest Economic Research Center (NERC) at Portland State University to conduct a study to define and characterize Oregon’s electric vehicle industry and to measure its economic impact. This solid research about Oregon’s current electric vehicle industry and its impact demonstrates the value of this industry, and will help identify key opportunities for future growth.
