Opportunity

Drive Oregon, the state’s industry association for electric  vehicles (EVs) and components, is seeking an Executive Director (ED). This is a  full-time position, and the ED reports to the Board of Directors. Drive Oregon  is a coalition of companies and interest groups engaged in the EV industry and  transportation electrification. Drive Oregon consists of companies that develop and produce vehicles and components, perform conversions, and provide consulting services for hybrid and electric vehicles and energy storage  technologies.

Drive Oregon’s mission is to catalyze the growth of Oregon’s electric vehicle industry to ensure Oregon develops and maintains its competitive advantage and maximize the economic  development potential of this emerging industry.

Position: Mechanical Designer Drafter

As a Mechanical Drafter your creative, self-driven mechanical design skills will be put to use as you help develop electric powered transportation solutions for the next generation of personal mobility.

The Experience You Need:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive project work
  • Strong mechanical design skills
  • Be a performance oriented, high achiever looking to take the next step up in their career
  • Working in high energy, collaborative, flexible teams
  • Experience within a industry closely related to automotive or motorcycle design and manufacturing
  • New product introduction
  • GD&T, Solidworks drafting
  • Solidworks 3D design/modeling including surfacing
  • Design for manufacturability and design for assembly experience

Position:  Program Manager

Manage vendor relationships for outsourced manufacturing

  • Develop project plans to launch products from engineering to an outsource manufacture
  • Monitor progress of outsource manufacturer including timelines, risks, issues, and budget
  • Provide manufacturing production status to Brammo HQ senior management staff

Quality Assurance

  • Manage and resolve supply chain risks and issues related to production manufacturing, including interfacing directly with Brammo engineering and supplier companies
  • Responsible for signing Certificate of Origin for Brammo products

Logistics

  • Manage logistics and shipping from Brammo headquarters to manufacturing sights, dealers, and other entities

Relevant experience:

        Project management with an emphasis in manufacturing, supply chain, and quality
        Experience with International logistics
                   Experience working a  with a contract manufacture Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred

Travel: Some travel required (domestic and international)
